VIN (Vehicle Identification Number):

This is the number that each individual vehicle is assigned by the manufacturer of the vehicle.  Vehicles manufactured as far back as the early 1980's will have a 17-digit letter and number sequence that makes up the VIN number.  Vehicles prior to this may or may not have a number this long.  In order to obtain the most accurate quote, it is very helpful to have this number.  In Pennsylvania, this can be found on your vehicles title and registration.  The number is also located in one of a few places on your car: dashboard, driver side door, or under the hood.
